Co-Activité en Piste

Target audience

Personnel operating on airport platforms alongside other simultaneous activities.

Objectives

• Understand the organisation of the airport environment and the concept of airside co-activity
• Identify markings, signage and colour codes of aircraft stands
• Recognise the different aircraft types and their wingspan code classification
• Identify the main airside hazards: jet blast, ingestion, traffic, refuelling, weather and noise
• Apply safe work practices and traffic rules around the aircraft
• Master risk management principles and the prevention of foreign object damage (FOD)
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment suited to operating conditions
• React appropriately in case of accident, incident or emergency situation on the apron
